2000 Retzlaff Cab/Merlot

I was rearranging my wine closet and found the futures I had bought from Retzlaff some time ago. I decided that I deserved to open the 2000 Retzlaff Cab 85%/Merlot 15%. It was awesome. Very fruit forward, smokey, very Bordeaux-ish/California. I was so happy to drink this with a close friend and reminience on visiting the Retzlaff Winery in Livermore. I give this a 95, The Wine Attic.
